On my last day in Washington (and the last day I took any pictures, as I was leaving early the next morning) my lovely hosts took me through Tacoma, Washington. Surprisingly, the morning was beautifully sunny and we took advantage of the gorgeous winter light with some impromptu photo sessions. (One of the couples is getting married in October of this year and have asked me to be the photographer. I'm really looking forward to it, Doug & Laura!) I loved the old brick buildings of the college and the train station and the soaring modern architecture of the Museum of Glass. So cool!
